Online Dispensary in Bonnyville, AB

Bonnyville’s roots trace back to Scottish fur trader Angus Shaw, who built a North West Company post on the shores of what’s now Moose Lake in 1789, one of the first permanent structures raised by a European in Alberta. Permanent settlement didn’t take hold until more than a century later, when French Canadian pioneers arrived in 1907 following two travelling priests, Father Joseph Adeodat Therien and Father F.S. Bonny. The community was first known informally as St. Louis de Moose Lake, but after discovering another Alberta post office already used that name, settlers renamed the town in 1910 after Father Bonny, the newly arrived resident priest.

A rail link finally reached Bonnyville in 1928 after years of negotiation, opening up trade for the region’s mixed farming economy, and the town was incorporated in 1948. Its position on the edge of the Athabasca and Cold Lake oil sands has since drawn major petroleum investment, and the community still carries a notable Franco-Albertan character alongside its oil and agricultural base. Weed Market ships to Bonnyville addresses the same way it does across the rest of Alberta, fast, tracked and completely discreet.
