Online Dispensary in Dieppe, NB

Dieppe didn’t get its current name until 1946, and the choice was a tribute rather than a translation. Before that, this stretch of fertile land along the Petitcodiac River was known as Leger’s Corner, named for one of the Acadian families who farmed its marshy, tide-fed soil starting in the 18th century. After the Second World War, residents renamed the community in memory of the Canadian soldiers who fought and died in the 1942 Dieppe Raid on the French port of the same name, a choice that turned a farming crossroads into a permanent piece of wartime remembrance. Acadian settlers had returned to this region generations after the 1755 deportation scattered their ancestors across the Atlantic world, and Dieppe grew from their reclaimed farmland along the Petitcodiac’s aboiteau dikes, the same tidal engineering their ancestors used centuries earlier.

Today Dieppe is the largest predominantly francophone city in Canada outside Quebec, part of the Greater Moncton area, and home to the Congrès Mondial Acadien, which it has co-hosted twice, in 1994 and again in 2019. Its bylaw requiring bilingual commercial signage was a first for the province, and the city’s population has grown faster than almost anywhere else in the Maritimes over the past decade. Weed Market ships to Dieppe addresses the same way it does across the rest of New Brunswick, quickly, discreetly and fully tracked from the moment it leaves the warehouse.

What You Should Know About Buying Cannabis in Dieppe, NB

• New Brunswick runs cannabis retail through a single government-run system rather than allowing private shops, so Dieppe residents don’t have the storefront choice found in provinces like Alberta or BC.
• There’s no cap on how much cannabis a household can keep at home in New Brunswick, only the 30-gram limit that applies once you’re out in public.
• Cannabis can’t be consumed by a driver or passenger in any vehicle in New Brunswick, and it has to be transported sealed and out of reach during the trip.
• Dieppe sits right beside Moncton at the centre of the Greater Moncton area, a fast-growing region where cannabis demand has outpaced what a single retail model can stock.
